One of the very special departments at Valley Christian Schools
is Discovery Center West.
This special program is designed for students K-12 who have diagnosed learning disabilities.
Discovery Center West offers private
therapy sessions with a trained, qualified learning specialist.
At the elementary school, students are released from their regular classroom for two 80-minute sessions per week.
At the junior high and high school students take educational therapy as a schedule class.
Students enrolled in the Discovery Center’s educational
therapy program receive academic support through classroom modifications
as needed, therapist-teacher interactions, annual testing and
parent conferences.
